Metro Duct Systems (MDS)
Metro Duct Systems was founded in 2016 with a mission to serve high bandwidth/high fiber count consumers in Northern Virginia. MDS is a registered CLEC in Virginia and provides open architecture infrastructure that serves both the public and private sectors.
MDS serves some of the largest data center owners, cloud computing, educational and enterprise consumers in the region. Our first endeavor into the telecommunications infrastructure model started with MDS's sister company, Columbus FiberNet (CFN) in Columbus, Ohio. Like MDS, CFN is a very quiet company whose original infrastructure was built in 2001 and continues to expand today.
