Team Fishel’s newest office celebrated the holiday season with their local community in a truly wonderful way! Our Akron Teammates held a Toy Drive that produced more than $400 in toys for Summit County Children Services. The elves in Santa’s workshop at the North Pole would be proud!
“We wanted to show the community that we were invested in the area and we plan on staying and becoming a name that everyone recognizes,” said Teammate Brian Archer.
To get things started, Archer distributed flyers listing various age groups to buy for and some gift suggestions for each. He set up a large crate as a drop-off point, and the Teammates did the rest. Approximately thirty Teammates participated in the holiday effort!
“The Teammates really stepped up and got in to it,” Archer said. “I had the privilege of delivering the toys and got to see what was purchased and I couldn't have been prouder to be part of this team. They really had fun!”
The kindness and generosity of our Akron Teammates most certainly made the holidays brighter for many children. Of course, Archer acknowledges that Team Fishel’s ‘elves’ had plenty of help from that jolly, old fellow that we all know and love. “Santa did it,” he said. “Call it a Christmas miracle!”
