As the telecom industry and our customer base continue to consolidate through mergers and acquisitions, it is now more important than ever to focus on Celebrating the Customer. With fewer Customers, we have to make the most of our current relationships and differentiate ourselves from our competition.
Over the past year we have talked a lot about our game plan for Operational Excellence, which is about Continuous Improvement, and how we are going to measure our success internally, but we must also understand the importance of Service Excellence as an Attitude to be lived in our daily work. Service Excellence is really about having the right attitude – a "Can Do" attitude to Celebrate the Customer everyday.
Our Customer is the reason for our existence. We must remember this as we put our Fishelosophy to work for them. Fishelosophy is about respecting ourselves and our Customer, by keeping our core values of Accident Free, On Time Delivery, Quality, Integrity, Trust and Respect at the heart of everything we do.
Being Accident Free means working safe. Our Customers depend on us to maintain a safe work site to protect their Customers and the general public from harm. By working safely, we are more productive and can eliminate lost time on the job, which helps our Customers turn up service faster and make On Time Delivery possible.
Providing Quality services and having Integrity in what we do helps to develop solid relationships, not only as a company, but also as individuals. When you consistently offer your personal best and treat every Customer with respect while communicating honestly about the work and the project schedule, you will gain Trust and Respect. Every Teammate deserves Respect and this comes from honesty between Teammates and with our Customers. Respecting each other helps to maintain a positive work environment.
