Team Fishel Acquires Kaccel Communications Services

It is with great pleasure that we announce the acquisition of Kaccel (pronounced “Castle”) Communications Services in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kaccel, owned by Larry and Kathy Fortin, is an underground utility construction company that has specialized in electric and telephone conduit work for the past 22 years in the Las Vegas market.



With almost 100 employees, Kaccel generates approximately $11million in revenue and runs their operation very much like our business. Much of their work is deep trench, difficult conduit relocation jobs, large bores and cable replacement projects. Over the last twenty years, Larry and Kathy have built a strong team of Project Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, and field Teammates, and we are excited to have them join Team Fishel. They have also created a strong relationship with Nevada Power, Embarq, Cox and developers in the Las Vegas valley.

We are also pleased to announce that Brian Dunlevy will be the new Construction Manager in Las Vegas managing the day-to-day operations. Brian will be relocating from Dallas to Las Vegas with his wife Mary. Randy Blair will be the Officer responsible for the Las Vegas operation.

Dean Pence, our General Manager for Columbus FiberNet will be taking over the responsibility for the Dallas operation. Dean, his wife Stacie, and their 2 children will be relocating to Dallas after the New Year.

We have been trying to figure out a way to enter the Las Vegas market for years, and this looks like a perfect fit. Together, we can capitalize on our strengths and leverage Kaccel’s experience in the Las Vegas market to continue building profitable growth for Team Fishel.
